Veteran Home Loans
A great mortgage loan for service members, veterans or surviving spouse of veterans.
What is a VA Loan?
Those who serve our nation in the U.S. Armed Forces have been granted the right to use a VA loan to finance a home. This loan is provided by private lenders such as banks and mortgage companies and is backed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It is available to eligible veterans and surviving spouses.
VA Loan Benefits
VA loans provide a great opportunity for eligible veterans and surviving spouses to purchase or refinance a home. Not only do they offer no down payment and no monthly mortgage insurance payment, but the VA Funding Fee may be included in the loan.
Qualifying for a VA Loan
In order to be eligible for a VA loan, you must meet the qualifications set out by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This type of loan is only available to current active military personnel (with a minimum of 90 days in service), Veterans who were honorably discharged, Reservists with six years of honorable service or 60-180 days of active duty, eligible surviving spouses, and those who have earned Veteran status through civilian employment.
